2026: The Year of Intention
Emerging stronger, softer, and more grounded than ever.
Rising From the Ashes
In years past, I surrendered, reflected, and learned. I softened where I could and stood firm where I had to. But after several seasons marked by burnout, struggle, and emotional heaviness, I feel myself rising again—like a phoenix from the ashes—renewed in strength, clearer in spirit, and moving forward with an open, yet wisely guarded heart.
This isn’t a reinvention.
It’s an emergence.
The Lessons I Couldn’t Ignore
2025 handed me the kind of lessons you can’t turn away from—the kind that demand honesty, clarity, and change.
Like many people, I have always struggled to let go of relationships that no longer fit, even when the misalignment was obvious. Sometimes these imbalances are temporary. Sometimes they’re permanent. But either way, avoiding the truth never makes the truth disappear.
This year, I came across an idea that reframed how I see the people in my life:
some people are leaves, some are branches, and some are roots.
- Leaves drift in briefly, take what they need, and fall away.
- Branches offer more support, but under enough pressure, they crack.
- Roots are rare and grounding—they nourish you, stay through storms, and grow alongside you, season after season.
2025 showed me who was who. It pushed me to acknowledge what I had been avoiding. And while that was painful, it made me stronger, steadier, and surprisingly quieter. I learned to move through life more slowly. Deliberately. With intention.
Letting Go of Chasing
This year, I stopped chasing people.
I stopped over-explaining myself.
I stopped bending to keep the peace.
Inspired by Mel Robbins’s “Let Them” theory, I learned to let people be who they are—and then let myself decide what that meant for my peace.
Let them pull away.
Let them be inconsistent.
Let them show their truth.
If someone can’t meet me in honesty, either they’re not ready… or they’re not meant to stay.
Life is too short to carry the weight of mismatched energy or silent tension.
Intention as a Lifestyle
Which brings me back to the theme of the year: INTENTION.
In 2026, I am choosing to be deeply intentional about:
- where my energy goes
- who I allow close
- how I nourish my body
- how I support my mind
- how I structure my days
- how I build my business
- how I move, rest, and grow
I’m choosing intentional wellness over frantic self-fixing.
Intentional nourishment over chaotic habits.
Intentional movement over punishing workouts.
Intentional living over constant hustle.
I am letting go of urgency.
I am letting go of noise.
I am letting go of anything that doesn’t feel aligned with the grounded life I’m creating.
Settling Into What Feels Right
2026 is not a year of doing more.
It’s a year of choosing better.
It’s a year of settling into what feels warm, steady, rooted, and true.
A year of becoming more myself—not by force, but by intention.
If the last few years were about surviving and learning…
this year is about living with purpose.
Slow Flow State Collective
This space exists because of journeys like this—messy, honest, nonlinear, deeply human.
Here, we choose the slower path. The intentional path. The rooted path.
Welcome to a new season—one built on clarity, softness, strength, and steady growth.
